War has been brewing between the Vampire Clans and the Werewolves for some time. Minor skirmishes have finally erupted into open warfare. Detroit, a Werewolf controlled city is under siege as Vampires invade in coordinated attacks, trying to wipe out their sworn enemies.

 

Solomon Drake is caught in the middle. On one side of this war, Abner Demke's Werewolf pack and on the other his girlfriend, Adrianna Thorne (Vampire clan leader).

 

The Elder Council has sent in their police force, the Black Guard, to blanket Detroit with a network of anti-egress and tracking spells. Their goal is to hunt down Solomon to prevent him from drawing the Council into this conflict.
